We know some of you are not that interested and want the regular YoVille news but we are getting so many requests from YoVille players who want us to voice their opinions. This is a YoVille FAN community and delivering the fans’ thoughts to the world is our job.

Fuque! Now friggen YoVille is doing maintenance and my Angel Food Cakes are burning!!! The notice says check back in 5 minutes and that been over an hour now. I give up….this is the lamest crap ever.

I was one who protested and posted complaints in the forum and now I feel like an idiot. I gave the Sweets Factory a chance, I had no other choice really. and I finally made money. The problem is I dont make money each time and when I do the amounts vary making over 800 coins in a day some days and 150 or so another day.The amounts are usually over the 200 limit we had at the Widget factory. However, I had to stay up until the “5 minutes maintainence” problem was fixed about 3 hours later or I would have lost a lot of coins. This needs to be fixed, it’s not fair to us.

You always have a choice Dazey! I have not stepped a foot into the Sweet Factory since it came.I said weeks before it came that I would not do so and I have not. I also kinda want to thank Zynga, the ninjas, the devs, or whoever is in the decision making positions concerning Yoville. Thank you for not listening to your customers concerning what they want and don’t want. Thank You for showing blatant disregard for us. Thank you for trying to push on us what we don’t want. Thank you for deleting a majority of our messages on the forums because you say it’s to many and they were causing errors. Thank you for letting us know that we sent sooooo many messages because by your own admission of that you in turn let us know that the majority did not want and do not want a Sweet Factory and you don’t care. Thank you for constantly reminding us of contests, new items, how to purchase yo bucks to buy the new items. Thank you for constantly telling us about what’s new in Yoville and trying to get us to spend more money but never addressing the thousands of complaints about the Sweet Factory!!! I agree with Pearle Girl, I have not stepped in the sweets factory after I tried the first day, and realised what was going on. If something changes maybe I would be back.

Relax. You actually make more money at the sweets factory, in all accounts. Read the breakdown of actual profits (with purchasing recipe and cleaning factored in)
it’s nice they’re spicing things up. Of course they are going to present incentive to log on to the site more often. Such is life. Chill out.
What in the world is the problem? I have played in the sweets facory since it showed up & I am making way more money now. I get extra coins each day when I go into the factory…anywhere between 70 and 100 so far. I got a 750 coin bonus for being promoted in the sweets factory, and it is just fun to do.
I have read through a lot of these posts and several people say they haven’t set foot in the factory. How then might I ask can you complain? You don’t have a clue what it is like, you merely listen to others and form your opinion that way.
I realize the sweets facory is a change and it is hard for a lot of people to accept change. I know people also gripe that they do not have time to do the sweets factory…then bake for 3 days and be done with it.
I don’t see how you all are saying that you can not make money at the sweets factory. Here are my calculations for the chocolate chip cookies:
1) Each batch cooks for 4 hours. So, realistically you could bake 3 to 4 batches per day. I’ll use 4 for my example.
2) 16 ovens x 4 batches per day= 64 batches of cookies per day.
3) Costs:
7 coins to bake each batch for supplies
10 coins after each batch to clean/prep each oven for the next batch.
Total: 17 coins per batch x 64 batches per day= 1088 coins
4) What you make:
25 coins/batch x 64/day= 1600 coins per day
5) 1600 coins – 1088 coins= 512 coins per day profit. And that’s not even counting any crew bonuses.
I am quitting the game. The sweets factory makes it not fun anymore.
First time i came to the sweet factory, all things were correct, but the next day that i came to the sweet factory, when i clicked the oven to prepare mixture, it doesn’t prepare it.I am walking to the oven but i doesn’t prepare the mixture. There’s a big problem. I cannot earn money.AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!. I will die.
I hate this factory and don’t use it, I only come to have the bonus each day, around 80 coins, that’s it ; I don’t want to let a game choose for me WHEN I will play, I’M THE BOSS OF MY LIFE, not the game
they need to make the sweets cost less and bake quicker. it needs to be more interactive, not just waiting for your stuff 2 bake.. i found that baking cookies will make u the most money for your time… OR GO GET A WII AND PLAY ANIMAL CROSSING CITY FOLK ITS SO MUCH FUN AND IS VERY INTERACTIVE!

i for 1 love it and im making far more money than in widget factory owing to have recuted a good crew so the more crew you have gor the more coins you get.
ok Karen so yeah you make 512 dollars a day doing cookies but thats A DAY! I use to make that every 6 hours at the widget factory! I hate the sweets factory! and Dont say you have to give it a chance because i have and i make about a third of the money i made before. Yoville doesnt have to get rid of it just let us have the option to change back if we want! Im trying to save for a house and that is impossible using sweets factory!

Yes I hate the sweets factory. I made a total of 11 cents for a paycheck. 36 cents, lost 121coins.
All day you bake cookies making an average around 250. If your lucky you can get to the factory 3 times a day. So that is 750 a day. At night so that your bakery items don’t burn you usually use an item that takes longer to cook which in result’s cost more coins. That is how I wind up at night making 36 cents 11 cents pay. That sucks. Once, I was late getting to the ovens and I know you get extra time, but it is never the same. You cant count on well I have 5 min or 10 min before my cookies will really burn, but you cant it could be 1 min. 20 min. The sweets factory isn’t regular on anything. You get a message saying enter the bake off and win and you wind up loosing an oven because it came on as the avatar was getting ready to take out or but in the cookies. It is just a piece of crap. They should of just updated the Widget factory if they wanted a new look. The Widget was fine. You could count on just about each pay check being the same. You didn’t have to write down each time you went into the factory to make sure that you was making coins like you do in sweets. I have been keeping a log I have made less coins and the prices of every thing has gone up in Yoville as far as shopping. It is kinda like if you want to raise the price, you need to make sure that we have coins to purchase with.
I just hate every thing about the sweets factory. To me there is not a darn thing that is SWEET about it.
I could never figure out how to work at the Widget factory. It would say show up to work in 6 hrs. So i would come back and nothing ever happened. I sat there one time to the EXACT second I was suppossed to work. Maybe I am dense, but how the heck were you suppossed to get in that Widget to actually do work. I have talked to many friends that couldnt figure it out either!I would click all over and nadaaaaaaaaa

The sweet factory or the widget factory is not the issue i really like the sweet factory but the fact is that it does not pay off as much as the old widget factory does and thats the issure dont give some baking contest just give more money when im baking.
Here’s my problem with the sweets factory.
Yoville is a game about building your avatar’s life, PLUS social interaction. When you spend MORE time ALONE in the sweets factory, you actually miss out on visiting friends, chatting with those who are online (friends and strangers), and going around sales or visits to the different stores to buy stuff.
I think Zynga missed the point of the game when they forced one feature of one game (which is of a totally different nature) into another.
IMHO, what they should have done is to promote interaction among the players (dating game, anyone?), and make people spend less time at work (which for me is the bane of the sweets factory and the beauty of the widget one…widget factory…we already spend eight hours at work in our real lives…must we spend so much time in our virtual lives as well?

Maybe, JUST MAYBE, the maintenance that they are performing is fixing the damned glitch when that Baking Contest pop-up pops up!! You know the one that forces your avatar to skip that one oven and make it unable to clean unless you walk out of the factory and come back in!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I hate that stupid thing. I hope they fix it, but I’ll not waste time holding my breath waiting on Zynga to actually fix something.
I also hate it when I am about to click on an oven, only to have my avatar taken to a different page because I accidentally click on a friggin pop-up that came up suddenly, trying to tell me I can add more friends, for more coins!! If this game isn’t designed for children, why does Zynga treat us like them?? I know I can ad more friends. I don’t need a reminder. Furthermore, I don’t need to tell my whole Facebook friends list every small thing I do on personal games!!! Why do they care if I buy a couch, or if I leveled up and ow I can move my arms a different way!!! STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!!!!

I’m making more money with the Sweets factory, when I can go in it. But the majority of the time i can’t get in because it’s down for maintenance can’t you just keep both and have a limit on how much money someone can make a day? Because now I have no money because I can’t get to my food so it burns. Oh, and another question when your food burns why won’t it just burn down the stupid Sweet factory. I like the widget factory better at least all my money wasn’t going down the drain.

I’m new to the game, so I don’t have any attachment to one way to earn income vs. another. You can earn a great deal more than 200 coins at the sweets factory. What am I missing?
The chocolate chip cookies, just for one example, will earn 1800 coins each day, if you do three batches of all sixteen ovens. You can earn over 200 coins on many of the others.

I just started to take my cakes out of the oven and then maintenance came up. This is the second time this has happened and I lost coins and level points. When it comes back up, your cakes are either burnt or you have to start over. I know that wigglets is coming on December 23, 2009. However maybe it would be nice to let us know when you are doing maintenance (dowing the site) so that we can plan ahead of time. It started around 10pm eastern time in nj, when I couldn’t send gifts or open my inventory/ or re-arrange my appartment. I’ve never had the old factory (Wigglets that all are talking about, however, it’s upsetting after you play all day and do the chores that are asked during the game and lose out on your coins. Thnks for your time and for listening.
