YoVille players in the United States will be able to purchase YoVille gift cards from certain retailers ( Target till now). The gift card that costs 10$ can be redeemed for coins or YoCash by inserting a certain code on YoVille . Cards will be available at Target starting next month.

In my opinion – If Zynga doesnt make players happy, people will move on. I know I will if it becomes to redundant, boring, complicated and expensive.
I consider myself a ‘gaming’ person, so I dont mind the cost but certainly at some point I’ll consider the ‘value’ and ‘time’ spent and make a decision on staying.
It’s not worth the heartache though. If it starts to feel bad to you… make a change. There are tons of games out there…
Possibly Zynga is just getting to far ahead of themselves and forgetting what it meant to create and keep a great thing going.

I have purchased the card at my local Target (I live in southern California). They are found in the music/dvd section at my store on an endcap. Actually, difficult to find if you don’t know where to look, but walk around the music dept. for those of you unable to find them. And they are $10 (USA) and I had my choice of $50 yobucks or 5,000 yocoins when I put the code in.
well they probly took it away to encourage people to BUY yovile money with real money. but this might let them make more money the games loses anything it had going for it because it’s not a game anymore, but a decorate a room for 20.00$. i think it is stupid that they took awa the widget factory so…. o well…

I read some of the comments… wow! Well the update of the factory is a cute idea, if they would stop burning the food! App’s are suppose to be fun! People have real lives and don’t always know when they have time to play app’s! Feeding the kids and working come 1st people! If we can’t make money to buy stuff, whats the point? I burn stuff all the time and lose money… The app. has lost my interest! Thats okaY I tried Mafia Wars because of YoVille and I like it allot more anyway!

I received one as a gift in Oct. Bought at a Target in AK. My son said he saw them at Target in Baton Rouge, La. I looked at both our Targets here in Lafayette, LA and neither had them.
for any new yovillians, u can earn extra coins everyday by going to yoville.com and hitting facebook connect or my space connect. lights and pots of gold will click on to give u coins and free gifts. Also if u go int the events (next to ur buddy list) icon and click on trading u can go to sales where u can buy yocash items for coins. I hv gotten a bunch of louis furniture for coins and normally u can only buy with cash.
Also in the events u can click on games and scale down to the max parties where u can go and get maxed out and earn coins, maxing is when u or the other person clicks on avatar, clicks play game, usually rock paper scissors, and then exits out so u get the 10 coins. All these will give u alot more to spend
people are getting crazy with prices for old rares ..i seen a dance floor going for 1.5 million the othe day. i say zynga should bring back the dance floor for 20k..also bring back the other old rares.

I agree it is harder to make money at the sweets factory. After trying for 7 months to purchase yocash, I still can’t, I cant buy any type of cash for any Zynga games & I play several of their games & have 3 seperate accounts. Funny after submitting several written complaints & talking to customer service & they don’t understand why Zynga won’t allow me to purchase from them, and apparently don’t care, since it’s still not fixed. Bottom line is I guess they don’t want my money. If 600.00 a month is worthless to them, maybe I should find other games to play.

i do agree that Sweets Factory does not work for me,it is annoying,slow,and doesnt make money at all.whoever said that it brings more coins than Widget,must not have made his calculations right.whatever you earn will be -160 coins after cleaning.why does it take away coins for cleaning it up?it makes no sence.id understand the -% of the ‘products’ we buy to bake ,(not that we actually bake something,just wasting coins for product),but not even in real life will somebody take your money when you clean an oven.and the loss of 160 coins is a big deal,when all you make is 200-300.and what happened to the shamrocks that brang you an item or a ‘RARE’ each week? I am a new player in YoVille so I don’t understand the difference between Sweets Factory and Widget. I’m doing just fine in the Sweets. Get more neighbors, make more money; do coin runs; do daily tasks for extra 30 coins (feed pet free for a day); help friends out (vote for their baked goods; vote for friend being a good friend). There are plenty ways of making coins. HOWEVER, I did not know that we could earn YoCash in the past. It looks like Zynga did away with that. Now THAT sucks! They should definitely bring that back!
I wonder if Zynga games are going to do people like they did recently to me. I purchased a prepaid card and put money on it so I could purchase the coins and yo cash…Funny thing is Zynga took it upon themselves to deduct $1.00 charges over multiple times in one day until they literally stole all the money on my card before I could purchase the coins or yo xash. What a SCAM… told me the money wrnt into a pending account. Pending for who, certainly not the player. Very upsetting situation needless to say and has changed my viewpoints on what a fun game this use to be… Please quit making all the new changes. Some of us that have been playing for a long time like the way it use to be…so much fun and without all the con scams with the purchases we make to play the game.
