Yes, it did. Zynga’s idea of music is kind of different. I don’t think many people listen to rock, pop… music without lyrics! Many of you bought the new radio and music tracks from the Music Store but are you still using them? Many new players will continue buying tracks but will they continue playing them? Some of you say that the tracks are YoCashy and can’t be traded but Zynga had to buy those tracks for the game from musicians or music sites ( unless Zynga employees play music).
Right now, YoVille’s theme is Music Wars. What exactly are music items like speakers, projectors, towers… doing at the Furniture Store? The music store design is cool and should be used for more than music tracks but instead it is turning to another Gifts & Flowers.

I think that the whole music theme is silly. There is very few things that i have bought, the steer skull, one rock n roll poster, and the shirt with tats. The rest, I am just waiting for it to end.
I have several music players and a variety of music tracks across all the categories, all of which I am still using in my different homes. I like the music effect and fully appreciate the issue over rights and the like, so I did not expect lyrics. I think the music is great even if I’d prefer, given the choice of course, to hear my own fave artists playing, but, as I said, I understand why that cannot happen. My only comment about the music tracks would be – can we have some more please? I’d like more classical stuff, as it is restful and pleasant and draws the best comments from my visitors. I’d also like some acoustic guitar sounds please. I am not a jazz fan, but the smooth jazzy tune is another big favourite with my friends and several have bought it because they like it so much and are now playing it in their homes. For me the music tracks have been a real plus in the game.
Turning to the new music theme, I have some sympathy with the previous comment, although I am considering creating a recording studio and some of the items are therefore likely to be useful for that. However, I am holding off buying at the moment for two reasons: there are currently no instruments available to buy, which rather defeats the object of building a recording studio, and secondly, I am still uncomfortable with the whole Sweets Factory issue and am biding my time till Zynga improve our lot in payment terms. I have a little yocash left from a previous purchase, and will not buy more in the current climate.

They should have made the music players yocoin, but the music itself yocash. We understand they have to pay for the music rights. Making the players cash is another example of bad planning.
i think they should make it possible for us to play our own mp3 files on the musicplayers. That would make it more personal, insted of everyone playing the same melody.

It is as much of a success as the Sweets Factory (anotherwords, it is a miserable failure).
I never use sound in my game so the music is meaningless to me. I’d much rather listen to my own music.
I do not like the music theme at all. The only thing I have bought is a red carpet.
Why is it that every theme they bring out now has a lot of elements that you need the Yobucks for, they have taken away some themes that poeple were still useingand are bringing in ones i can’t afford to get.
And when you fill in the surveys for the yobucks you email address gets flooded with junk mail, so not worth it.

I would love to be able to get music tracks and players, but I can not afford to buy YoCash. I can’t understand why YoVille Devs will not allow them to be sold,traded or gifted. As far as music themes are concerned, I so not interested! I started this game about a month ago and was so into the cop theme but could not finish getting anything because A) you needed YoCash and B) they got rid of it all. I only have a small amount of police themed items and no hat or badge. Why couldn’t they give us more time or just leave the items? The Devs left the police/mafia houses but we can’t buy any stuff to go in them? What’s up with that? Give us a choice where to work, there are other jobs besides widget and sweets! Hospital, fire station and police station. They could build one building and have multiple doors to go into to report for work, just like the apartment building. I think the devs also need to remember it’s a game and the coins are make believe. They need to lower the prices on some of this stuff. It’s not so fun anymore.

I am not keen on the music wars theme. I would not buy music from them even if it was in coins not cash..I have better music to listen to!
Have bought some of the items from music wars, but am not happy with them..Waste of my coins.
Will not be playing much now. Twice a day I go in, do my bakery then out.I am rapidly losing interest.
Would rather they bring out another range of ordinary every day furniture instead of this themed stuff.
I think Praise and Worship music, along with Gospel music should be added. Not all people listen to rap and metal..or whatever that is on those tracks in the music store. A diverse population plays Yoville so a diverse population in everything that you do on Yoville should be represented.

i do like the selections. I’m new to the game and I have enjoyed it. I agree with the praise and worship to an extent but there is music on there that is uplifting and it doesn’t have to be churchy. I don’t like having to spend my own cash to get yocash but I have to keep playing. I don’t have any complaints yet………. thanks

I have two music players, several tracks and I use them all the time. The only issue I have is that I have to manually change the music. There is no shuffle feature. That would be awesome of you to add and would give artists more airtime (w/o making me pay for a new player

The music would be great except you need current music with singing. Also it would be nice if you would have put some Christmas Music at the music store. Everyone I chat with has told me the same thing. Coins should also be allowed for certain players and music.
