Zynga’s Lisa Chan is not so happy about YoVille. In a recent post on Zynga’s blog, she asked the millions of YoVille fans to show some love for YoVille!
I want to hear and see some YoVille love out there. Afterall, we do have millions of passionate YoVille players too!

I am quitting Yoville. Not just because of the sweets factory but because of the mean swearing foul mouthed people who take this social game to be the place to air all their pent up hatred for the human race. The language and verbal attacks make the game not fun anymore and that is what games should be.

It’s nothing more than a glorified chatroom. You can’t even interact with the stuff you buy like you can on say, The Sims. And I’d question anyone’s sanity who spends actual money to get nothing but some intangible graphics, that once again, you don’t even interact with. Are you looking to bolster your ego via a silly application or something by ‘owning’ more stuff thn the next guy? I don’t get it. Do some good with that spare cash you actually have in this economy and donate to a charity or something.

I agree with Todd on the money issue 100%, but I do like playing YoVille and interacting with people. I could never in my right mind spend money that is so desparately needed in my own household or somewhere else that is needed.

Lisa, you want some Love??? Try listening to what people say. YOUR GAME IS NOT FUN ANYMORE FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE!! It is not because it is hard to understand the baking concept…it just isn’t fun!!!!! You got my real money when I started, but you won’t get anymore because it is not only not fun for me, but many of my friends have quit playing also. They are still on the friends list, but they don’t play. I’ve been going in just long enough to collect the start up money, then I leave, because for me, baking sucks. You ruined the game as far as I’m concerned.
I think it’s riddiculous how much everything on the game is. Considering a Reccession and the fact that my father just got laid off, I cant afford to buy yocash to by intangible unoperating goods. Cut the prices, or I and all of my friends quit.
There’s Mafia Wars, and YoVille, and ne’er the two should meet. If I was interested in low-life, mean, gang banging, gangsta attitude everywhere I went, I’d play Mafia Wars. I’m not, and I don’t.
The Sweet’s Factory is fine. Some folks just want to be paid to do nothing, as in real life. Investment and risk are incomprehensible. However, considering those on a limited schedule, I don’t think crew bonus should decrease in the first 24 hours. If you’re good for 2 crew coins per hour on cookies, you should be good for 2CC/hr on a 24 hour item. You’re already taking a hit on the profit side.
And as for Lisa Chan’s happiness with YoVille… Lisa, happiness is a choice.

If that were not so, why are you throwing crumbs at us (i.e. the one time “promotion” to manager with coins)? You want to do the right thing? Then maybe we would show yoville some love for doing so. Just add the other factory back in. Keep the sweets for whomever thinks they are making more (I’m not). And lower the prices. Once in a while make some of the cool stuFf coins instead of all $$$. You can’t even buy a freakin’ hat without $$$. If you want your yoville love, you are going to have to earn it back.

The Sweeets Factory is ok.And I think it was nice of Zynga to give us 750coins for the down time.Just like in real life;people are afraid of change.But sometime change has to be to make things better are faster.But still you have those who won’t change,or want pay for doing nothing.I was upset at frist.But i have worked things out.And it is ok!…P.S. I would like to see more earings.The Hoops are great.Also has Zynga thought about designing cars that maybe we could get with yocash (expensive).And others for coins.That we could get to put in front of our houses;are in garage.I think it would go over big. I suggest if you want to see some love, listen to the people that are actively playing the game. I have a real life with a real job, real children, real wife, and attend a real church. My schedule doesn’t allow me the luxury of benifiting from the new Sweet Shop. The only people I talk to who actually like the shop are the ones that have nothing better to do than sit behind a computer playing games all day. If it is your intention to appeal to this class of people that is fine but beware these people have no means of buying the extra coins and cash that fund this game and also if your numbers drop I am sure your advertising funds will drop as well. So in closing word to the wise, listen to your fans and try to make them happy and in return they will respect you and make you happy as well.

Ever since Sweetsfactory was added I stop playing.. and everything is yocash, if you guys take out yocash or maybe on the scratch off lotery you should allow us to earn 1 yocash dollar, at least we would be able to accumalate yocash.

yea i agree why waste money that we all need on a game. it started to suck after paying fishing and racing you can’t race if your friends are not on. and thats to much money for things on here and not alot of choices on factory. the same thing with farmville will be quitting soon there is always a problem with the server and you get robbed in fishing.
I think it would be better if you let people have the option of which factory they wanted to use. Also if you could make some of the cash items available for those who can’t get the yocash that might help some. Another thing, maybe you could get some more yocoins pets instead of having all the good ones be yocash only. I think that that would help boost the popularity alot. =)
I don’t care for the sweets factory and not making the coins I did with the Widget factory. I think we should have a choice. I also think new items for yocoins would be great.
Zynga, cut the complaining by just replacing that bigtop tent with the coming soon sign with the widget factory and give the people a choice at where they will work….simple…your usership will go up, complaints will go down…and we can all get back to enjoying the application.

I love Yoville, I absolutely HATE Zynga, they don’t listen to us the players and make changes we want as “your players” in the past year I have paid out of pocket over 1k in USD for YoCash, I asked yall to fix the issue of yocash and waited months submitted ticket after ticket with each incident and no luck. So as of June this year I shall NEVER and I mean NEVER support thru any kind of coins or yocash, farmcash, any game cash by never paying for it again. If I do a survey and get it free great if not oh well Ill live with what I get with coins in the game. And lets not start on coins in Yoville. Yoville is a fun interactive game for me and many of my friends but alas they are leaving for other FB games which is becoming the way to go with all the Yocash items in yoville. The mods in Yoville.com try their best to keep us updated but alas they have their favorites in yoville.com and the rest of us we are as they say “thread makers” which get bumped, moved or closed. So why buy balloons off that site or visit it anymore. Its all propaganda from Zynga. So if your looking for a fun and loving person to be a Yoville peep, that I am. If your looking for someone supporting Zynga…….sorry NO CAN DO.

You need to meet the needs of the people playing this game. Please listen to what we have to say; we are the ones that keep this thing going. That being said, what they hell is the deal with these prices, and the YoCash???!!!
The prices should be cut….bottom line. And we should have the ability to earn yocash just like coins. It was a challenge when it was just coins, and I appreciated that, but to restrict certain items to yocash that can only be bought with REAL CASH is just wrong. Also, buying the hair and then having it taken away is not cool. I’d like to collect hair in my stock just like clothes.
I really have fun with this game for the most part. I love the scratch offs, I love reaching the new levels, I really don’t even mind the bakery. I just wish that the prices and yocash issues would be resolved. I enjoy the decorating aspect of it, and it’s a lot of fun to collect things, but to know that some of it will never be possible because you’d have to pay real money is out of control.
I too, have become upset with the game. You give us a sweet shop, and we have to pay to clean the oven, pay to buy the ingredients, then when we do get the money when all of the sweets are done, we again have to pay out of that to start all over again. Then everyone was looking forward to halloween so we could decorate, haha. I guess the joke was on all your players, because “once again”, if we didnt have real money, all we get is the GIANT flytrap, which may I add takes 24,000 yoville coins (enough to buy another house)and the small stuff no one wants. All the nice decorations have to be bought with REAL MONEY. I think it is awful. It has gotten to the point where if you want anything beside the trailer park stuff, you have to use a credit card. I am sorry but I thought this game was for fun. It is not fun when we cant even enjoy it anymore. You all that make this game, arent trying to make a nice fun game. You are trying to get rich, and using us to do it.
I went from playing everyday, to only a few times a week. And when I wanted to decorate for halloween, I had to go in my inventory to find anything I could use to make my decoration. But now if I had used a credit card, I could have got the haunted house and everything to decorate. Dont you see what you are doing???? You ruined a perfectly fun game. Oh and also Mini Planet is the same way….if you dont use real money…you might as well not play. I don’t even know anymore, don’t like changes so well. You don’t make the changes where they are really needed. I love the Haunted house. You don’t explain things, as to how to play certain games. So confusing, it is getting boring lately.To many people, I also complained about a problem I had, I ended up loosing an extra bouncy that was in my inventory, so I am out that 31.00. I have lost several items too, but this was the largest. I have explained it and they don’t want to help me. when I enter in , it says my password and username are wrong. Funny how it gets me in everyday tho. So they really don’t want to hear our complaints. I am going to cut back on buying things. I probably will soon quit too. Too bad tho it did get all the family and friends together for a yr or so. Guess I can thank you for that .

I am not happy because I have completed offers over 2 weeks ago for Yocash and not received it yet. I have sent in all the corresponding emails to prove I completed the offers and written to Zynga and Gambit. Keep getting the run around. This is false advertising.

each item has a time frame. 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days. if you throw some vanilla cupcakes in the ovens at 8 PM, guess what? they’re done at 8 PM the next day. So jump online for two minutes at 8 PM and you’ll get your coins. if you’re not going to be able to get online in 6 hours, then – *gasp!* – DON’T BAKE SOMETHING THAT WILL BE DONE IN 6 HOURS!

I grew up in the late 60′s when men started to grow long hair. It became a way of life in the 60′s up into the 80′s . Why can you at Zynga not understand this and place long hair in for Men. As it is now you have hackers selling long hair in events for rediculus prices. Open up the clothing and hair to both genders.

Lisa, please take note. I love the premise of the game. I appreciate that you are trying to keep the game interesting but somethings need fixed. I think you need to momentarily drop putting any new features in the game and instead concentrate on making the game reliable. YoVille as it stand now is a buggy and unreliable peice of software. Another thing I dont appreciate is the shift from yocoin to yocash items. It used to be that yocash items accounted for 10-25% of total items in any given catagory. Now the shift is between 60-75% of total items in newer catagories being yocash items leaving very little yocoin items. So now we know that greed has infected the Zynga company like everyone else. Bottom line you want me to spend my hard earned cash on pixels. I cannot do that now as I explained the YoVille game has far too many glitches in it. I have lost hundreds of friend on my friends ladder. I have tried to resolve this issue via the ticket system and after 3 months the problem remained. I know that since that time I was not a “cash” paying customer of Zynga but it clearly showed me how you either didn’t care about fixing the problem or were not technically competent to do so. What Zynga fails to realize time and time again is this lack of customer service greatly impacts ones decision to become a cash paying customer or not. Maybe Zynga needs to start showing the “Love” towards the players of thier games as they wish us players to do. Right now I am seeing a lot of greed and arrogance and not a lot of love. If Zynga is passionate about thier games, specifically YoVille then show some passion into improving the software so we don’t loose our friends on our contact list and we don’t need to worry about loosing the pixels we just bought with our coins/cash. The love is not there because Zynga apparently dont get it that lack of quality and lack of customer support is not there. Nuff said. Gets off soap box.

Yoville has been my favorite computer game for over two years now– but it has been getting harder and harder to play because of the percentage of things that are yo cash. I REALLY got upset the other day when I wanted to buy a new bow which of course is yocash (60-70%) is now. Anyhow the bows that one could buy for 6 yo cash someone had the galll to sell for 12K. Thats 2000 coins for ONE yo cash– NO ONE can afford that. Its bad enough that Zynga has let yocash dominate yoville but now so many of the players are dominating it because they have the money to spend on graphics. Problems is we will ALL be losers– Zynga, regular players and the greedy ones because if it continues there wont be a yoville to play–
