With all the new items being released by Zynga every week, it is so important to have all the up to date information on making the most coins you can in Yoville. Here is an updated guide for you to follow in order to make that task a lot easier.

«Login Daily»
Make sure you log into Yoville at least once a day and each day you will get more coins, up to 300 coins a day.
«The Widget Factory»
The Widget Factory was the place you once made a majority of your coins. However, sense the release of the new Yoville Jobs, that is no longer the case. The Widget factory is still a good source for making money in Yoville and should be visited as often as possible throughout the day. Currently you need 100 energy to complete your job at the Widget Factory and the payout is 200 to 350 coins depending on the amount of neighbors you currently have.
«Yoville Jobs»
The newest feature added to Yoville are the Yoville jobs! Here is a great article with all the details needed to succeed in this fun new feature in Yoville.
«Coin Runs»
At the bottom of your screens, you will see a ladder of your neighbors in Yoville. By mousing over them you are then given choices to visit or gift each friend. This is what we call Coin Runs or “CR”…which some of you might have seen written in messages from friends in the game. Once a day you can visit up to 25 friends and make up to 20 coins each by choosing 1 of the 6 different interactions with your friends avatar… Dance, fight, kiss, tell a joke, leave a message, or send a gift.
«Take Photos»
In the bottom right side of your screen you will see your chat box…where you type to interact with other players, in this area you will see a camera icon. You are given up to 5 rolls of film once a day to take pictures. You earn up to 20 coins per photo depending on the quality of your photo.
«Maxing (Play Games)»
In Yoville you can ask any of the other players to play a game of tic-tac-toe or rock-paper-scissors with you. Just click another player and ask him/her to play a game with you:
If you win, you’ll get 10 coins. If it’s a draw, you both get 5 coins. If you lose, you get nothing.
You can earn up to 200 coins per day by playing games. Fastest way to “max out” (= get all the coins possible per day from games) is to join an event made just for playing. Check the events-list and from there the section “games”.
Rules:
Tictactoe (TTT) – try to get 3 symbols (X or O) in a row before the other player.
Rock-paper-scissors (RPS) – Choose either rock, paper or scissors, game starts when both players have made their choice. Paper wins rock, rock wins scissors, scissors wins paper. At least 2 rounds are played.
«Speedway»
On bottom right corner of the map there is a speedway-arena.
Here you can choose from 3 options: Race, practice or bet.
By racing against your friends, you will earn 10 coins by winning a race against your friends avatars. It’s possible to earn up to 200 coins per day this way. Unfortunately racing is connected to the games though (ttt and rps), so if you have already maxed out for the day with them, the wins in races won’t give you any coins. They will be counted on the badgelist still.
- You race by clicking and holding the left mouse button. But don’t hold too long or you will flip over, and also remember to watch those oil-slicks! Get a boost from the arrows on your lane.
By betting, only the sky is a limit or you can lose it all. Place a bet between 10-500 coins and choose from 3 friends which one you believe will win.
«Casino»
If you are feeling lucky…make your way over to the Yoville Casino! You have really good odds of winning considering all it takes to break even is 1 cherry!!! The payout can be as high as your luck will allow.
«Yoville Fishing»
Yoville has a really fun fishing game that I still enjoy just playing because its a challenge!! You buy some bait and pick 3 friends you want to fish against…then try and catch the heaviest amount of fish before the 2 1/2 minutes is up. You win 10 coins a game and can win up to 200 coins a day playing this game.
«Buying and Trading»
You can buy and sell items with other yovillians, this is called “trading”. Step by step instructions how to trade, can be found in this topic:

You can sell the items you don’t need anymore, you can make art on whiteboard and sell them or you can invest in something, for example if you have yocash, you can buy yocash-items and sell them to other players for coins (you can’t trade yocash) or buy some seasonal or collectible items and wait until they are out of store and starting to raise price. This is how many people in Yoville make their fortune.
You can also sell the items back to Yoville. That happens from top boxes:
Click “view inventory”, browse the items in there and once you’ve found what you want to sell, click it and it will show how much you will get from it, you can choose either “sell” or “close”. When you sell back to Yoville, you get approximately 1/3 of the store-value back.
Yocash-items, starter-items, houses, teleport-doors and the things you’ve bought from yoville.com can’t be sold back to Yoville, only “removed” from inventory which won’t give you any coins.
«Mystery Gifts»
These items are gifted to you by your neighbors and they should be returned. The amount of coins received in them varies but there is a chance at rare items in some and other have items needed to complete the Yoville collections.
Click the gifts to send your friends a free mystery gift.

i love yoville but i keep frzzing and i cant edit my rooms when i try to edit a room nothing is showing up or go from place to place with out frezzing every thing as become such a efert now so i wont bye yos eny more till its sorted out
I love the new game but when i started there were a little more stuff for yo coins .NOW!!! it seems like everything is yo cash i mean i don't mind sending money every now and then but when you ha-vet to buy something to match something and all your choices are yo cash that is getting a little ridiculous

I HATE the new games feature. Apparently, that is designed for people who have all day to sit at the computer. Look at all the things you mentioned on how to make a few coins. It takes all those together EVERY day just to make SMALL coin for the prices in YoVille. Who the heck has all day to do that? NOT FUN anymore. Not fun at all.
One of the things I was told by a WONDERFUL woman on my crew is that I can use the "extra" energy to keep "re-building" my energy level to 100 % and then KEEP visiting the factory. So, if I have enough espresso etc, I open my energy suitcase and get 100 % and then INSTEAD of going to do more jobs I go RIGHT BACK to the factory! And earn another 350 coins. Thank LadyDi and the rest of y awesome friends!
Chellise: Yes, this is something I have also discovered. Each time I have 100 energy, the first thing I do is go to the factory. Then I also go to a job and get my energy back up to 100 by the gifts from my friends and if I have the time to do so I work a job. Sometimes, depending on the amount of energy I have from friends, I can do 2 or 3 jobs in one sitting. You gain one energy point every 3 minutes. If someone doesn't have time to do the jobs, they can do like your crew member said and still send energy back and forth with friends, so they can go to the factory multiple times within in minutes by building their energy back up to 100.
The one thing I have noticed in the jobs, is each job says you will make an amount of coins within different coin ranges, like say 200-500 on job #1 in so and so category. Several times now I have made under the lowest amount, under 200 in this example. I'd like to know why that is and if it's a glitch or if I'm just missing something.
I LOVE BUYING THE NEWEST HOUSES WHEN THEY COME OUT AND DECORATE THEM. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SELL THESE FOR COINS. OR BE ABLE TO TRADE THEM OFF FOR SOMETHING ELSE. THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SEE IN YOVILLE. BECAUSE NOT ALL PEOPLE CAN AFFORD TO BUY A YOCASH HOUSE SO MOST OFTEN THEY JUST DONT BUY ONE. THANK YOU SO MUCH

The freezing problem is really bad.. I think they should get that fixed before adding all the new things. What good are the new things if u freezze up trying to play the new games etc. How can u earn coins when u keep freezing up . It's very frustrating but I'm addicted so I guess I have to deal
What good do coins do when the majority of the items being sold is for yocash – this is getting out of control, HELLO – not everyone has the ability to by yocash. Why would anyone want to continue to play a game that doesn't allow them to play with out having to spend a large amt of real money – especially in the economy today (at least in the US). It would be nice to see a reverse at the bank where you can buy yocash with coins – just saying. I also agree with all of those complaining about the freezing.
Why can't I do coin runs on the Yoville profile anymore? Also, not happy about the uber high prices and abundance of Yocash Items! If I buy a game for my gaming console, I pay for it ONCE, I don't keep getting charged for "premium" sections of the game. I know Zynga needs to make $, but I also know people who have spent hundreds and hundreds to play this game ( and people don't pay that much for a console game ) so I know your hurting. There isn't much fun in decorating when all you can use is "trinkets" and the staple items for a room are yocash!

I love all the new items. However, I used to be able to buy all of the new items and spend very little real money. I realize, as others have said, that you need to make a profit, but jeez!–I am reitred and on a fixed income, and 1) you are putting out so many new items so fast I can't keep up with them, 2) the collecitbles are SO expensive, and even if I wanted them, they're gone before I can save enough coins, 3)WAAAY too many items are yocash. I have spent at least $300, probably more, over the past several months, to get kool itmes–more than I can afford to spend, so there's no way I will ever be able to get everything like I used to do,
Part Two of my comment:
4) even the coin items cost MUCH more than they used to, and 5) I can't spend all day trying for the small amounts of coins I am able to earn daily, 6) and people are scalping items they resell for up to millions of coins (how do they GET so many and can't the amount they charge be limited by you?!), I love the game and the social interaction, for the most part (WHY can't you have a few of us monitor events and be able to better report abuse, foul language and the like? We could do it undercover!), so help make it more affordable instead of more expensive by the day! (Gosh, a new dress can cost thousands of coins and used to cost like 100-500 coins.).
Just a quick reminder…we cant fix your Yoville problems as we are not Zynga. Please post on the Yoville forums or submit a ticket with Zynga. This was just a guide made to help those players who needed alittle help getting to know the game.

Ok. Zynga does need money but the yocash is out of control. Could they make a store just coins and a store just yocash and they both could have the same amount of stuff in it i think that would make since instead of the people who cant afford the yocash doesnt have to feel bad about everytime they see something nice……

I'm guessing many YoVillians play the game (myself included) as a relaxing distraction from real life stressors, i.e., economy, political climate, wars everywhere, etc. Many of us are struggling to buy REAL groceries, fuel, and simple necessities. When we can't afford to buy a real sofa because of the mentioned issues, it sure would be nice to afford one on YoVille…. afterall, it IS a game! Aren't games supposed to challenge us and bring us satisfaction? C'mon Zynga – give your players a BREAK with the yocash and high coin prices!! If you can't, perhaps consider developing Yo-classes: Rich, Broke, and Really Broke. Then, at least, we could choose which neighborhood we can afford!
