Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe (1886-1969) worked in the family stone-carving business before he joined the office of Bruno Paul in Berlin. He called his buildings “skin and bones” architecture. He sought a rational approach that would guide the creative process of architectural design, and is known for his use of the phrases “less is more” and “God is in the details.”
With the release of the ‘Whimsical Theme’ and ‘Whimsical House’ there are many mixed reactions and opinions. We have asked WYID members to review the new theme.
