After our recent post about Zynga killing YoVille on Tagged, official statements appeared online. YoVille Community Manager Pink Ninja said that rumors about Tagged players loosing their houses, items, coins and cash are “completely untrue”. Zynga support was also updated with a brief message about this.
And finally, Platinum Ninja put on a new blog post assuring players that they will not loose anything and that information about the migration process will be added soon.
Our post yesterday might have caused some panic and confusion. For those of you who don’t know, Tagged is a social network like Facebook and Myspace. If you play YoVille on Myspace or Facebook, you should not be worrying about this.
We’ll let you know when we have more details about the migration process. Thank you Forum Member Mr. Y for the tip.

The big YoVille billboard found on the main YoVille map is updated to advertise Zynga’s fish aquarium game, FishVille. The new add simply invites you to play FishVille. No rewards or gifts. A month ago, Zynga advertised YoVille in FishVille through a special snail that can be obtained for free by reaching level 10 in YoVille.
Should Zynga reward YoVille players for playing FishVille with a special item like the free snail? Share your thoughts in comments.

Zynga just launched a new treasure hunting game. The new game is called Treasure Isle and like most of Zynga’s new games, it has YoVille’s avatars.
Here’s the official description:
“Become the most famous treasure hunter in the world! In Treasure Isle, you dig for rare and valuable treasure with your friends. Earn money, explore strange places, and decorate your very own island as you explore the world of Treasure Isle!”
The game has very relaxing theme beach music that will most probably get you carried away and make you spend more time playing. I kept Treasure Isle running while updating YoVille Lounge and it helped me go through your stressful complaints. Maybe this is what YoVille players need, some soothing music.
Make sure to try this new game on your weekend. It looks good.
